Saltwater Shore Fishing Day in Lima

About the Fishing in Lima
Lima is a city deeply connected to the ocean. For generations, many local families have made their living from the sea, with artisanal fishermen working the rich waters of the South Pacific every day.
This strong fishing tradition is one of the reasons Lima is known for its outstanding seafood, where fresh fish is brought from the ocean to the table thanks to the hard work of local fishermen.
Along the coast near Lima, there are also many productive beaches that offer excellent fishing for flounder and sea bass, two of the most exciting sport fishing species in the area.
The Experience
We will depart very early in the morning from your preferred hotel in Lima, with the goal of reaching the coast at first light.
Throughout the day, we will explore different beaches along approximately 150 km of coastline south of Lima, searching for flounder and sea bass in some of the area’s most productive fishing spots.
Around midday, we will take a break to enjoy a traditional fish ceviche, where you will also learn how to prepare this iconic Peruvian dish. After lunch, we will continue fishing through the afternoon before returning to Lima at the end of the day.
