About Pucusana Fishing Bay
The Artisanal Fishing Harbor of Pucusana is located 1 hour south of Lima. It is here where a large number of artisanal fishermen earn their living using traditional fishing techniques in the Pacific coastal waters. Here we will be able to watch a lot of sea life activity, birds, Humboldt penguins, dolphins and sea lions hunting their meal everywhere.
The Experience
Your fishing adventure begins with a convenient pickup from your Lima accommodation. After a scenic one-hour drive south, we'll arrive at Pucusana Bay. There, our fishing boat awaits. We'll employ a dynamic mix of live bait, jigging and casting techniques, targeting the bay's diverse ecosystem to maximize your chances of hooking into species you've never encountered. The adventure culminates with a hands-on lesson to prepare a traditional ceviche from your freshly caught fish.
The Equipment
This trip is for jigging or casting fishing technique. Feel free to bring your own rod, reel and equipment of your choice, if not we can rent you.
