Embark on an unforgettable overnight fishing adventure to the Chincha Islands. Aboard a classic, fully equipped sailboat, you will explore one of Peru’s most vibrant marine ecosystems while enjoying the thrill of fishing and the peaceful rhythm of life at sea.

 

Over two days, disconnect from the everyday, fish in rich Pacific waters, enjoy fresh meals on board, and sleep under the stars. More than a fishing trip, this is a complete ocean experience along the Peruvian coast.

The Experience

Our Peru fishing adventure begins with an early meet-up at 5:30 a.m. at your hotel in Paracas from where we will depart to meet our Captain at the bay. After a safety briefing, we set sail towards the legendary fishing grounds of the Chincha Islands. The journey is part of the experience, with chances to see dolphins, sea lions, many species of Peruvian seabirds and if we are lucky even whales.

We'll start fishing upon arrival and jump on a fiber glass fishing boat to start using trolling, jigging and casting techniques and target species like Bonito, Rock Seabass, Amberjack, Flounder and many other local species. A delicious lunch is served on board as we continue to fish the productive waters around the islands until sunset. After a long fishing day we will enjoy a fantastic dinner under a star-filled sky and rest in the boat's cabin, lulled by the ocean.

Wake up to the fresh ocean air and a hearty breakfast. The morning bite is often the most productive, and we'll be on the water to make the most of it. We spend all morning exploring different spots around the Chincha Islands until it is time we begin our sail back to Paracas, reflecting on an incredible two days of fishing. We arrive back at the Scallop Farm just in time for Lunch, where a delicious fresh Scallops Paella will be waiting for us concluding your ultimate overnight fishing expedition in Peru.

This trip is for jigging or casting fishing technique with spinning equipment. Feel free to bring your own rod, reel and equipment of your choice.

ITINERARY

Day 1:

We begin with an early pickup from your hotel in Paracas, followed by a sunrise breakfast before setting sail toward the Chincha Islands. As we navigate into these rich Pacific waters, we will begin our first day of fishing.

 

After a lunch break on board, we will continue fishing until sunset. In the evening, relax and enjoy dinner under the stars aboard the sailboat before resting for the next day’s adventure.

Day 2

Wake up aboard the sailboat and enjoy an early breakfast at sea before spending the morning fishing around the Chincha Islands.

 

Later, we will sail back to Paracas for a special lunch experience at a local scallop farm, where you will enjoy a delicious fresh scallop paella. After lunch, we will return to your hotel in Paracas, arriving around 4:00 PM.
