4D/3N Trout Fishing in the Nor-Yauyos Cochas Landscape Reserve

About the Nor-Yauyos Cochas National Reserve

Located in the Cañete River Valley, approximately six hours southeast of Lima, the Nor Yauyos-Cochas Landscape Reserve is a true wildlife paradise. This breathtaking Andean region is known for its crystal-clear lagoons, beautiful waterfalls, and trout-filled waters, all surrounded by the imposing mountains of the Peruvian Andes.

The reserve is incredibly diverse and full of life, home to llamas, foxes, pumas, vizcachas, deer, and a wide variety of birds, including the majestic Andean condor.

Throughout the experience, visitors can also admire traditional Andean agricultural terraces and archaeological sites, adding a rich cultural dimension to this unforgettable nature and fishing adventure.

The Experience

We will depart early in the morning from your chosen accommodation in Lima and begin a breathtaking seven-hour road trip by 4x4 vehicle through the mountains of the Peruvian Andes.

Upon arrival, we will check in at a beautiful hotel located next to the river, where we will stay during the experience. Over the next few days, we will fish at around 3,000 meters above sea level, exploring different landscapes along the river and its many turquoise lagoons.

Throughout the trip, it is common to see trout swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the lagoons and streams, as well as a wide variety of native birds and Andean wildlife.
